Active surround sound hits the high notes, and then there is passive sound, for relaxing and conversing with family and friends. Lighting can be adjusted to fit any mood, whether it is to play cards, entertainment, or reading your favorite book.

How long does it take to build a Weekender Home? Typically, you can be living in your new Weekender within 90 days of your order.


Who sets up these homes onsite? There are two groups of specialists assigned to handle the delivery. The Rough Set Crew positions the units into place and connects them to the appropriate foundation system, usually with a pier-beam foundation system. The Final Finish Crew then spends up to 5 days imsuring the home meets all our quality standards and is ready to enjoy.


How big are these homes? How much will they cost? The model shown at the New Orleans show is approximately 1600 square feet indoor living area , and has an additional outdoor terrace area of about 800 square feet. The cost varies depending on the different amenity package options but is typically $200,000 to $300,000.


Can I customize the Weekender's specifications? There are a number of available options, such as in the choice of colors, flooring, and tile selections. Also, there are a number of technology upgrades to consider, depending on what your lifestyle needs are. Our desire is to completely please every client and Weekender Homes will make any other changes requested; however, this usually involves extra engineering.


Who is responsible to see that all local building codes are met? Our designs are created to meet almost every building code. In addition, the foundation system needs to be studied by a local engineer, who is familiar with the soil conditions for the area. He will be the best source of information for the code requirements in his locations. Weekender Homes is not responsible for obtaining this information, but we will be on hand to coordinate with the homeowner on the needed information issues.


With offsite construction, how is the final quality controlled? There is a final detailing that is necessary to bring the Weekender to a state of proper completion standards. After the units are set in place, the Final Finish Crew starts this effort. The factory standards are what makes the Weekender so enduring. We control quality every step of the way to insure those high standards.


What is the warranty and how are problems corrected onsite? Some warranty times depend on the policies of our supplier partners. Weekender Homes warrants the structure and all systems, whether it is plumbing, electrical, or mechanical for a period of 2 years. We expect customer satisfication to be twice of most home solutions; and for this reason, we offer our unique extended warranty. Longer warranties, beyond 2 years, are also available at additional charge.


Does Weekender work with small builders, or just homeowners? Weekender Homes offers a wonderful opportunity for the small builder or developer. You have no subcontractor contracts or material delivery worries; and other than the deposit, no material costs. You will also enjoy the buying power, partner relationships, and extended warranty of Weekender Homes. You can focus completely on the maximum utilization of the property and your client's total satisfaction.
